Psychology versus Sociology
Psychology and sociology are both social sciences, so what are the major differences between the two? Technically speaking, psychology takes a micro-level approach to social science and sociology takes a macro-level approach. The lines blur somewhat in the overlap between the two disciplines. For example, both disciplines tend to use SPSS in quantitative analyses and often use the same statistical analysis techniques as well. However, both disciplines have separate histories.
